Surviving heat wave in southern Europe

Yes, Ben and I are in the heatwave. Venice was 100% humidity with a huge lightening storm one night (perhaps Ben called on the god Jupiter to smite Bezos for overlooking our wedding invite). Came up to Milan and heat today worse - spent most of the day in the wonderful Leonardo Da Vinci Science museum. Butit’s now 6pm and sitting outside, sweating with the effort of typing this. Anyway, attached photos illustrate essentials of survival, although you can guess which belongs to Ben and which is mine….

We were going to have an early dinner and head back to our apartment as we have an early start tomorrow….but it’s far too hot to eat.
